Many daily events and chores around 1982 have changed or have been superceded. However, the decision was taken during the preparation for publishing that the descriptions would remain.
If nothing else, they are the author's contribution to social history. Indeed, the book is such.
Many daily events and chores described then, nevertherless, can today inspire unhappy (even otherwise) couples and individuals to alter their admin routine for the better.
